fun fact- i saw this movie with friends - in theaters- the holiday season of my freshman year of college. I loved it so much i immediately went to the record store and bought the cd. times may have changed, but this soundtrack is still just as great as it was 19 years ago.
my all time favorite album, the carpenters christmas portrait. to me, the holiday season is listening to karen carpenters smooth voice singing ‘i’ll be home for christmas.’ i grew up in a very musical family, and these carpenter harmonies immediately take me back to singing with my family, and my grandma. this album will always be in style.
